Dave Angel and Rory Garforth are two of the very finest acoustic guitarists and composers on the contemporary music scene.

Best known for their work with The Angel Brothers and Hotel Brown, their styles and sounds perfectly compliment each other. Rory plays finger picked steel string acoustic in a folk style and uses a range of unorthodox tunings, whilst Dave plays nylon string or Spanish / classical guitar weaving a lyrical thread through Rory’s complex patterns and changes.

What better idea then, than to put the two together for an album of dual compositions / duets that will beautifully illustrate the talents and imagination of these two fine musicians.

Recording began in France during the summer of 2007 and - in typical laid back Dave & Rory style - we’re aiming for a summer 2008 release date.
